Waiting for December 4th "Tom Yum Goong-Kebaya" to be registered as a UNESCO

On December 4th, the Ministry of Culture invites Thai people to celebrate “Tom Yum Goong-Kebaya”, which is about to be registered as the 5th intangible cultural heritage of humanity by UNESCO.
Today (2 December 2024), Ms. Sudarat Wangsupakitchkosol, Minister of Culture, said that at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) conference, there will be a 19th meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage on 3 December in Asuncion, Paraguay, or on 4 December in Thailand. There will be consideration and voting to approve the proposals for inclusion in the cultural heritage registry of various countries.
